The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports Wisconsin’s dairy industry will get some TV time before the Packers take the stage on Super Bowl Sunday.

Along with an inside look at how foam Cheeseheads are made, ESPN visited a Kewaunee County farm and cheese shop to shoot a pre-Super Bowl segment at Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy.

Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy owner John Pagel showed the crew his operation which included a rotary milking parlor in action.

ESPN will feature several segments on Wisconsin’s $26 billion cheese industry between noon and 5 p.m. leading up to the Super Bowl. Krohn Dairy Store will also have a segment demonstrating the cheese making process.

Mike Sipple, vice president of the Argopur’s USA division, owner of Krohn Dairy, is glad ESPN is showing Wisconsin’s dairy industry to a wide audience.
