Ky. cow named champion of Milking Shorthorn Junior Show

Sageser Clay Penny, exhibited by Morgan Sageser of Shelbyville, Ky. was named the Grand Champion of the 2012 International Milking Shorthorn Junior Show.  Penny was the winning entry from the Senior Three-Year-Old class and was also the recipient of the Udder Comfort $500 Cash Award.  Redien Acres Jr was the Reserve Grand Champion of the Junior Show.  She came from the Junior Two-Year-Old class and was shown by Jacob Baker of Homeworth, Ohio. 

Judge Steve White of New Castle, Ind., and Associate Judge Ken Empey of Dorchester, Ontario placed a total of 196 Milking Shorthorns – 66 of which were Juniors.
