Central Life Sciences today launched www.YourIPM.com, a digital pest management resource developed for dairy professionals. The website offers visitors facts about pests commonly found in a dairy operation and explains best practices to help dairy operators develop a customized Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program.

“YourIPM.com is truly the first resource of its kind to help dairy professionals learn how to control the pests that affect a dairy operation’s profitability,” said Mark Taylor. “Studies have shown that milk production can drop by as much as 20 percent as a result of pests like the horn fly and stable fly. We’ve created this site to help educate dairy professionals on the importance of a carefully planned IPM program and how it can help protect their bottom line.”

The website provides a virtual dairy for visitors to explore with detailed information on common dairy pests and more than 50 facts and tips outlining best practices for an effective IPM program. Visitors can view 11 different areas of a dairy operation and read pest-control product descriptions and recommendations specific to the different application sites. As visitors move through the site, they can add recommended products to a custom IPM plan that can be printed for future reference.

Dairy operators and product distributors interested in learning more and exploring the virtual dairy can visit www.YourIPM.com.
