Hear the latest in robotic milking, sensors and automated calf feeders at the Precision Dairy Conference, June 26 in Rochester, Minn.

The Precision Dairy 2013 program will include national and international speakers who are experts in this field and the latest research abstracts. Producer panels will also be offered.

At the Expo, attendees will have the opportunity to see first-hand what companies have to offer in the growing and exciting field of precision technologies and equipment.

On June 25, prior to the conference and expo, there will be an optional farm tour of local dairies that are utilizing precision technologies. The tour will be an opportunity for attendees to learn what other producers have experienced, what worked for them, and challenges they might have had and how they overcame those challenges.

According to the University of Minnesota, precision dairy management involves the use of sensors to collect information automatically, and the use of robotics and other automation to deliver labor and management tasks automatically. This results in reduced labor and management time and improved productivity and profitability.
