While much of the U.S. is facing the stresses of hot summer months, dairy farmers in New Zealand are dealing with massive amounts of snow.

According to a report by the Waikato Times, more than 1,700 dairy farms were forced to dump milk because milk trucks could not get through the bad weather. Fonterra has not reported how much milk has been lost, but news reports indicate it has been thousands of liters.
