ELLSWORTH - 25 new jobs are expected with the expansion of a western Wisconsin dairy.
Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery is constructing a 10,000 square foot addition, and spending $4 million on equipment.
The co-op says demand is increasing worldwide for its cheese products. The 25 jobs will be created over five years, and a ripple-effect of other new jobs is also expected in agriculture and trucking.
The creamery received a $407,000 state grant that will be used by the city to make street and culvert improvements to accommodate the expansion.
