Agri-Mark milk cooperative made $2 million in payments its members last week, reports the Rutland Herald. This is the second round of payments made to its members this year.
The cooperative’s 1,300 members each received an average of $1,500 or $1 per hundredweight based on one month’s milk production.
These payments are an advance on Agri-Mark’s year-end profit sharing distributed to its members in New York and New England.
