Animal scientist steals the show

It was Temple Grandin’s night to shine.

The animal scientist from Colorado State University and inspiration for the HBO movie “Temple Grandin” was recognized at the Emmy Awards Sunday night. At one point, Grandin came on stage and hugged the movie’s producer, Emily Gerson Saines.

Grandin is well known for her work in designing facilities that promote animal welfare.
