The Cassia County Planning and Zoning Commission (Idaho) will consider a proposed 25,000 animal unit dairy, about 17,800 cows, at its meeting on Thursday.

Last week the commission approved another 25,000 animal unit dairy. According to AgWeekly.com, opponents, including some local dairy producers, are concerned that the area doesn’t have the land or water resources to support yet another 25,000 animal units.
