The District 2 Court of Appeals in Wisconsin has upheld the verdict, including a $1.1 million award, in a stray-voltage case between We Energies and dairy producers George and Kathy Muth, Town of Farmington, Wis.

Attorneys for We Energies argued in their appeal that evidence used by the WashingtonCounty jury to determine the verdict was “not credible” and therefore the high award was not justified.  We Energies contend the levels of stray voltage found at the dairy were not high enough to harm the cows.
