Class III climbs 97 cents

Milk prices came up slightly, climbing almost a dollar for the Class III price.

According to the USDA’s announcement of March Class Prices on April 4, the March Class III price is $18.00. That is a gain of 97 cents versus February. It is still $2.91 higher than a year ago when it was $15.09.

The March Class IV price fell 50 cents to $14.17, still slightly higher than a year ago when it was $13.71.

The March Class II price fell $2.83 - to $15.63. That is still $2.03 higher than a year ago when it was $13.60.
