Milk prices continue to build strength, with the Class III price reaching nearly $15 in March.

According to the USDA’s announcement of class prices on March 30, the Class III price gained 78 cents. That puts it at $14.96 for March. One year ago it was $11.11. This also marks the eighth consecutive month of gains in the Class III price.

The Class IV price gained more than the Class III price — up 87 cents to $13.58. The Class IV price was $10.68 one year ago.

The Class II price was announced at $13.57, which is up 49 cents versus February. One year ago it was $11.69.
