In one week, the world’s agricultural community will gather in Tulare, Calif. for the 43rd annual World Ag Expo, Powering Global Agriculture. An estimated 100,000 attendees from 67 countries are expected to attend World Ag Expo, the largest annual agricultural show of its kind with more than 1,600 exhibitors and 2.6 million square feet of show grounds.
To save time and money at the gate, attendees can register online at worldagexpo.com (discount prices are offered through Monday, Feb. 1). Those who register online at worldagexpo.com through Feb. 1 will receive $2 off each ticket and will be automatically entered to win a Yamaha Rhino 700 FL 4x4, “Fuel for a Year” from Fleet Card Fuels and 1-year use of a Massey Ferguson 2680 HD. World Ag Expo tickets are $10 online before Feb. 1 or $12 at the gate.
Complimentary tickets to West Coast Nationals Power Pulling Series on the same night (a $12 value) are also included with onsite registration. West Coast Nationals is scheduled to take place Feb. 9-10; gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the event begins at 6 p.m. at the Tulare County Fairgrounds.
To alleviate traffic congestion, attendees and exhibitors can use the free Park & Ride with shuttle service to World Ag Expo. Shuttles operate from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from: Preferred Outlets at Tulare, Prosperity and Highway 99, Tulare, CA; Tulare Airport, Avenue 200 and Highway 99, Tulare, CA; Tulare County Fairgrounds, 851 S. Attendees can donate $5 to the FFA Chapter of their choice for a chance to win a $30,000 grand prize Toyota Tundra. Donations can be made online or at the 10 entrance gates at the expo. Funds raised will benefit FFA chapters in the Central and San Joaquin Regions. There is no purchase necessary to enter the giveaway.
Attendees will also be able to participate in free seminars. Each day has a different seminar emphasis. International trade, Dairy and Forage seminars will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 9, General ag, Beef and Dairy seminars will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 10, and Irrigation, Education and Dairy seminars will take place on Thursday, Feb. 11.
