The 2010 Dairy Health and Nutrition Conferences hosted by the Northeast Ag & Feed Alliance will be held on April 13 at the Doubletree Hotel in Syracuse, N.Y., and on April 15 at A Fireside Inn in West Lebanon, N.H.
Both conferences are scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. with registration, coffee and exhibits beginning at 8 a.m.
Four Continuing Education Units will be available through the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists and four Continuing Education credits will be available through the voluntary Academy of Veterinary Practice.
The conferences will feature:
- Bob Patton, Nittany Dairy Nutrition, “Amino Acid Nutrition and the Role of Protected Amino Acids”.
- Joe Hogan, Ohio State University, “Nutrition, Management and Mastitis: Latest Research”.
- Mike Hutjens, University of Illinois, “Lessons Learned from $10 Milk”.
- Rick Hermonot, Farm Credit East, “Financial Tools for Dairy Consultants to Best Interact with Their Clients”.
