The decision has already been delayed for more study before. But today, county supervisors in Kings County, Calif., are scheduled to once again consider adopting the Dairy Element.

The Dairy Element is a set of dairy industry guidelines for Kings County. The guidelines have been in development for more than three years.

When the board delayed action two weeks ago, supervisors Tony Oliveira and Jon Rachford were instructed to take a close look at the Dairy Element and then return with a recommendation to the full board. Many expect to receive the board’s approval at this meeting.
