One of the featured guest speakers at this year’s National Holstein Convention is Robert Cropp, professor emeritus for the department of agricultural and applied economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will be presenting the Holstein Association USA’s Dairy Price Stabilization Program from 1:45 pm to 3:15 pm on Monday, June 29 in Sacramento, Calif.
Cropp has devoted 42 years to working with agriculture cooperatives and on dairy marketing policy issues, and has served as an advisor for the development of the Holstein Association USA’s proposed price stabilization plan.
An early bird session on genomics will also be held on Monday, June 29 from 7:15 am to 8:45 am.
The convention runs from June 27 to June 30.
