A northeast Indiana dairy farm has reportedly taken responsibility for a manure spill that contaminated a creek.

“Irish Acres farm took responsibility for it,” Indiana Department of Environmental Management spokeswoman Amy Hartsock is quoted as saying in the Ft. Wayne Journal Gazette. “…(They) were very proactive in responding to the incident.”

Hartsock said a neighbor discovered the contamination on Jan. 16.
