A recent analysis of 324 studies on the effects of milk consumption reveals that dinking milk significantly cuts one’s risk of dying from heart disease or stroke. The work was performed by researchers at the University of Reading and Cardiff University in the United Kingdom.

According to published reports, the researchers found that milk protects against developing many diseases — and that consumption could cut deaths from illnesses like heart disease and strokes by as much as 20 percent.
