‘Dairy U’ youth workshop slated

“Dairy U,” an educational hands-on workshop for youth, is set for May 1, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at the Stanley P. Wilson Beef Teaching Unit at Auburn University in Alabama.

Attendees will learn about marketing dairy products, producer marketing issues, showing dairy cattle, cheese making, bottling milk for sale and making a commercial for dairy products.

The workshop is $10 per participant and $10 per additional guest. Registration deadline is May 1. For more information, contact Boyd Brady, extension dairy specialist, at (334) 844-1562 or bradybo@auburn.edu.
