Hay barn fire may have been deliberate

The dairy farmer in Colorado whose hay barn went up in flames last week thinks the fire is of a suspicious nature.

“We don’t think it was internal combustion because this hay is old enough that it was all good and dry in there,” John Docheff is quoted as saying by KUSA-TV. He adds that he has his suspicions and that someone may have set the barn ablaze on purpose.

The fire was reported on Aug. 4 at Docheff Dairy.
