Farm women from Sauk County, Wisconsin and the surrounding area are invited to participate in the Heart of the Farm – Women in Agriculture conference to be held on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 in Baraboo, Wis.
This program provides the opportunity to network with other farm women and get answers about calculating cost of production, organizing for tax time, labor law and employee management and farm succession planning.

Heart of the Farm-Women in Agriculture conference series is a University of Wisconsin-Extension program that is committed to addressing the needs of farm women by providing education on farm business topics, connecting them with agricultural resources and creating support networks.
The conference begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. The location of the conference is Room B-30, in the West Square Administration Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, Wis.
Pre-registration is $15 per person. Registrations are due by Jan. 29, 2010.
