"Lights, Camera, Cheese!" is a new multidimensional theater show at Hilmar Cheese Company’s visitor center. Designed to take the public behind the scenes to learn how cheese is made at Hilmar Cheese, the show is free of charge to visitors.
The short animated film is directed by "Daisy, the Jersey Cow" and is shown three times daily. However, groups of 15 or more people, such as school field trips and bus tours can make reservations for a special showing by calling the visitor center at (209) 656-1197.
Twelve dairy families who all milk Jersey cows started Hilmar Cheese Company in 1984. Today it produces more than one million pounds of cheese a day. For more information visit www.hilmarcheese.com
