Good news for June dairy month – ice cream sales are up as much as 20 percent in some areas.

“It goes back to memories of being a kid and licking on a cone,” adds Dawn Uremovich, president of Häagen-Dazs store division, which is based in Minneapolis.

And these success stories are good news for the dairy industry that needs to move product off the market.
