TulareCounty (Calif.) dairy producer Gary de Graaf has leased the former Kraft Foods plant in Visalia and plans to start making nonfat dry milk powder, cream cheese, blue cheese and yogurt.

The new company, named Provisions Food Co., plans to start making its first products in September after the plant has been retooled and it hires about 30 employees. The company plans to start making nonfat dry milk powder first, and then early next year to start processing cream cheese, blue cheese and yogurt from milk from the family’s Jer-Z-Boys Ranch dairies.
