The University of Wisconsin Lancaster Ag Research Station will host its 10th annual Profitable
Pastures Field Day on Friday, Aug. 13, with updates on current research and pasture management issues.

The program begins with registration at 9:15 a.m. and will end by 3:30 p.m.

Special guest speakers this year will be:

  • Ben Bartlett, Michigan State University extension dairy and livestock specialist, who will discuss and demonstrate the key principles and use of low-stress handling methods for livestock production.
  • John Rodgers, technical services veterinarian with Pfizer Animal Health,
    who will discuss herd health strategies for pastured livestock systems.

Cost is $15, which includes lunch.
