Want to develop or sharpen your people-management skills? Then check out the Management Essentials for Dairy Success program.

Developed by the Dairy Alliance, a Penn State extension initiative, the program covers topics such as how to be more effective in managing people, evaluating performance, delegating tasks, improving communication, and dealing with disciplinary issues just to name a few. Called MEDS for short, this intensive, hands-on program helps you build real skills in managing the people at your dairy. This four-day course is offered in two, 2-day modules to make scheduling time away from the dairy easier.

The MEDS program will be held December 16-17, 2003 and February 17-18, 2004. Cost of the program is $450 per person and includes materials, breaks, and meals. Due to the interactive nature of the program, space is limited. For more information or to reserve your space in the program, contact Michele Moyer in the Dairy Alliance office at (888)-373-7232.
