A strange thing happened on a central Pennsylvania farm on Nov. 22. According to state police, a farmer was working at one end of his milking parlor when two men entered at the opposite end and spray-painted two of his cows with 5-inch spots of bright orange paint.

“I don’t know who they were,” the farmer was quoted in The Daily Item, of Sunbury, Pa. “They weren’t young kids just fooling around.”

State police are investigating the incident.
