Iowa producer convicted in water pollution case

Farley, Iowa dairy producer Carl Simon was found guilty in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids of polluting the Little Maquoketa River.

He was convicted on four counts of “knowingly discharging a pollutant without a permit.” He faces a maximum sentence of up to three years in prison for each count. A sentencing date has not yet been set. For more details from WHOTV.com, click here.
