Large hay bale kills dairy employee

An employee at a Sunnyside, Wash., dairy was killed last week when a large bale fell on him.

Oner Villa, a 28-year-old employee of the Tony Veiga Dairy, died from suffocation after a 1,500-pound hay bale fell on top of him from the truck he was unloading. Villa had gotten out of the forklift he was using to cut some twine to free the bales when the lower bale shifted and the accident happened. Emergency personnel were unable to revive him.
