Latest ridiculous scheme by PETA

Rebuffed in an earlier attempt to change the name of Hamburg, N.Y., an animal-rights group has now turned its attention to Slaughterville, Okla.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants the town of Slaughterville to change its name to Veggieville. PETA has offered the residents of Slaughterville $20,000 worth of veggieburgers if they comply.

But Slaughterville residents apparently think that PETA is full of beans, according to a Fox News report on Monday. For more information, click here.
