Larry L. Hawkins,Senior Technical Services Veterinarian with Bayer Health Care, Animal Health Division will be the guest speaker at the next Dairy Calf & Heifer Webinar, scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 12:00 p.m. CDT.    

Dr. Hawkins received his degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 1974. He spent 23 years in western Kansas, where his practice emphasis was beef cattle feed yards, stocker cattle, and cow-calf operations. He then joined the Production Medicine faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia where he taught numerous courses including Adult Bovine Digestive Disease, Production Medicine, and Ambulatory Production Medicine. Since June 2001, he has served as Senior Technical Services Veterinarian with Bayer Animal Health where his duties involve all food animal products.
