Michigan State University is hosting a conversation about animal agriculture as a sector of Michigan’s economy.
The free event talks place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 8 at the Kellogg Center Auditorium in East Lansing, Mich., and will touch on the social, economic and ecological impacts of animal agriculture. Speakers will provide a broad range of perspectives that greatly impact farmers, communities and Michigan’s economy and explore the available science that address these issues. You’ll have a chance to interact with a wide range of scientists, researchers and stakeholders to expand the collective understanding of how animal agriculture could evolve in Michigan.
The forum is being held in conjunction with MSU’s annual Agriculture and Natural Resources Week.
