A new study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that people who drank the most milk had a 13 percent lower risk of heart disease than those that drank little or no milk. And, milk drinkers had a 17 percent lower chance of stroke.
Researchers at the University of Cardiff in Wales, Great Britain, tracked 400,000 adults worldwide for up to 28 years for these results. The study was independently supported, with no funding from the dairy industry.
