Milk price protests in Europe continue

Last week we reported about Belgian farmers who dumped 660,000 gallons of milk in protest. This week protests against low milk prices continue in Europe.

Protestors created a “milk lake” in front of the European Commission headquarters on Monday. According to a news report by AFP, the head of the European Milk Board helped open the taps on three giant vats surrounded by burning bales of hay and model cows.

Across the European countryside protestors dumped millions of gallons of milk.
