Milk prices forged ahead during June, following double-digit losses during May.

The Class III price rebounded to $13.92 — a 15-cent gain from May. The Class II price and Class IV price also posted gains for June. The Class II price tacked on 28 cents — pushing it to $13.06. The Class IV price was announced at $12.33 — an increase of 13 cents.

Meanwhile, cheese prices held steady during June. The average block price for the month of June was $1.5065 at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. The monthly average barrel price was $1.458. On July 1, blocks and barrels settled at $1.5475 and $1.5075 per pound, respectively.
