Italian type cheese production totaled 381 million pounds, 6.1 percent above November 2009 and 3.1 percent above October 2010.
American type cheese production totaled 350 million pounds, 5.6 percent above November 2009 but 3.5 percent below October 2010.
Butter production was 133 million pounds, 9.8 percent above November 2009 and 9.2 percent above October 2010.

Nonfat dry milk, human - 115 million pounds, up 13.0 percent.
Skim milk powders - 16.3 million pounds, down 13.8 percent.
Whey products (comparisons with November 2009)
Dry whey, total - 80.0 million pounds, up 0.8 percent.
Lactose, human and animal - 74.2 million pounds, up 19.8 percent.
Whey protein concentrate, total - 34.6 million pounds, up 1.6 percent.
Frozen products (comparisons with November 2009)
Ice cream, regular (hard) - 51.9 million gallons, down 2.2 percent.
Ice cream, lowfat (total) - 25.3 million gallons, up 6.2 percent.
Sherbet (hard) - 2.69 million gallons, up 4.7 percent.
Frozen yogurt (total) - 4.01 million gallons, down 13.7 percent.
