More convenient butter

In effort to meet consumer needs, Land O’Lakes recently announced that it will go national with new packaging that features eight half-stocks of salted butter in a 1-pound package.

The move expands on the company’s previous marketing of the new packaging, which had targeted the Eastern half of the U.S. last year.

The eight butter sticks each measure 2 ounces, or 0.25 cups. The cost for this package will be the same as for the traditional full-stick butter packages.
