April marks the start of the latest dairy promotion “3 steps toward a slimmer summer.”
The new promotion targets women. The program encourages women to cut calories, exercise and include three servings of dairy in their diet each day.
And as a reward, women who purchase milk, cheese and yogurt during the same shopping trip can receive a free three-issue trial subscription to Prevention or Women’s Health magazines.
The program started April 1 and runs through May 7. The promotion is being supported with in-store radio ads in select retail locations with sampling events in more than 6,500 grocery stores across the country, including Safeway, Winn Dixie, Food Lion and Meijer.
Consumers also can pick up a brochure featuring easy recipes and snack ideas, as well as the magazine order form. The forms also can be found at the 3-A-Day web site: www.3aday.org
