A new initiative from AgCareers.com aims to encourage more young people to think about a career in agriculture. AgForLife.com offers information about any kind of career opportunity in agriculture and/or the food and life science fields. It is aimed primarily at middle school, high school and college students.

AgForLife.com is designed also to provide a service to the industry by putting "an end to the brain drain," in agriculture. It seeks to slow the trend of more people leaving the industry than entering it by showing them that “agriculture isn’t just crops, tractors, livestock and dirt.”

The Web site was designed by Edward Romero, assistant dean at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University. For more information, visit www.agforlife.com
