The Dairy Calf and Heifer Association's (DCHA) January Webinar will feature Jim Moriarty, vice president commercial lender with Farm Credit Services of America and Roger Chamberlain, senior lending officer with AgriBank. Moriarty and Chamberlain will present the Webinar, entitled,“Optimizing the Financing Experience" on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 12:00 p.m. CST.
Receive valuable information from two dairy industry lenders who will provide important tips on how producers can achieve the best possible outcome from a loan request. They will provide an overview of the current state of the dairy industry, future outlook, and insights into information that will assist in obtaining approval for a loan.
Jim Moriarty is a commercial lender for Farm Credit Services of America. He is a Relationship Manager for the dairy industry with specific emphasis on dairies over 1,500 cows. He works with dairy customers to identify their financing needs, structure credit packages, and provide ongoing customer service and relationship. Farm Credit Services of America's dairy portfolio has over $600 million in loan commitments with customers located across the Midwest and extending from the Mideast to Western U.S. Jim has a M.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin in River Falls in Agricultural Economics.
Roger Chamberlain is a senior lending Officer for AgriBank. He is responsible for a commercial loan portfolio and participates as a member of the AgriBank Loan Committee. He provides market knowledge and risk assessment in support of market development and risk management for AgriBank and its district Ag Credit Associations. He is a 34-year veteran of the Farm Credit System, including four years with AgriBank and 30 years with the St. Paul Bank for Cooperatives and CoBank. Roger received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
