Volatility in the marketplace can leave you feeling like you’re riding an out-of-control roller coaster — but, with insight into how the markets work, a better grasp on industry trends and a background in global dynamics, you can ride with confidence. There are options for risk management that fit your business structure.

This six-class series is designed to grow a beginning marketer into a knowledgeable producer who knows enough about market management to hire the right resources, and make volatility work in your favor.

The first class will be held on Jan. 7 at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Wis. from 1-3 p.m.

This entire course will focus on marketing tools and principles required to successfully market milk or other commodities. Two experts who know the ins and outs of commodity marketing and the dairy industry teach the class.

The PDPW Commodity Marketing Course cost is $450.00 for one to two people. This is perfect for farm owners, farm managers, herdspersons or industry professionals. This course is limited to the first 30 entities.
