Livestock nutritionists for all species can learn the basics of creating feed management plans for their clients at Purdue University extension's 2010 Feed Management Workshop, April 19 in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The workshop will be of particular interest to consulting nutritionists and agri-professionals who want to become certified feed management planners, says Tamilee Nennich, Purdue dairy nutrient management specialist.

"Participants can expect to learn to write a feed management plan as part of a comprehensive nutrient management plan," she says. "They will walk away with tools they can help their clients implement on the farm."

Registration is $50 per attendee and is due by April 14. To register, or for additional information, contact Nennich at (765) 494-4823 or email: tnennich@purdue.edu
