This is just a friendly reminder that the federal Minimum Wage will increase to $7.25 on July 24.
California employers must already pay the higher state minimum wage of $8 per hour and Arizona employers must already pay a state minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.
Management should use this as a chance to check out those minimum wage posters you're required to have hanging around and to update them if you need to. Management should also use this as a chance to double check payroll fail-safes that ensure employees are never paid below minimum wage.
