On Aug. 26 and 27 there will be a foreman/supervisor training seminar in Spanish. The seminar will be held at the Stanislaus County Agricultural Center in Modesto, Calif.

The seminar will focus on building strong supervisor/subordinate relations, difficult interpersonal communications, dealing with insubordinate subordinates, confronting employees in a positive way when there are disciplinary problems and other human resource management skills. Training will be hands-on.

Spanish-speaking farm foremen, herd managers, crew leaders and front line supervisors are encouraged to attend.

Cost will be $55 per person and will include materials. A discounted price of $45 will be charged to those who pay before Aug. 12. Only 20 seats are available.
