The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has filed suit against Vreba-Hoff farms over alleged permit violations involving treated irrigation water.  

 “Once again, we find ourselves having to ask the court to enforce the numerous agreements that Vreba-Hoff has failed to live up to, and enough is enough,” DEQ director Steven Chester is quoted as saying in The (Adrian, Mich.) Daily Telegram.

A Vreba-Hoff spokeswoman denies the allegations.
