The California Center for Cooperative Development is asking California dairy producers to take a “Dairy Opportunities Survey.” The objective of the survey is to learn about interest in supporting farmstead/specialty dairy product processing and/or marketing. In addition they are looking to see if there is interest in the development of a dedicated-organic processing facility.

The survey is available as an automated online survey (our preferred method of submission), or as a Microsoft Word document.

Submit your completed survey through the Web site, or using this formby fax or mail postmarked by Friday, Sept. 24 to be entered into a prize drawing to win your choice of the following, either:

1) FREE admission to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s famous Farmstead/Artisan Cheesemaker short course ($675 value) or

2) 6 FREE hours of consultation in processing, business planning and/or marketing with Dan Strongin of Edible Solutions (past clients include California Milk Advisory Board, University of California, Fiscalini Cheese Company) (a $750 value).

Survey results and analysis will be posted sometime in October.
