Seeing crop and livestock production first-hand and visiting personally with farm and ranch families would surely add a perspective that cannot be gained from behind a desk, a thousand miles away, says John Hart, director of news services for the American Farm Bureau Federation.
He suggests that a continuing dialogue may be the key to preventing even more red tape and back-breaking regulation in the future.
