Manuel Villegas-Ybarra of Merced, Calif., was sentenced this week to a year in federal prison for tax evasion for failing to report income money earned from stolen grain, reports the Central Valley Business Times. In addition, $43,861 must be paid to the Internal Revenue Service.

According to the article, Villegas-Ybarra had been stealing truckloads of grain from Turlock Commodities for the past several years.
