SCTimes.com reports two teens near St. Cloud, Minnesota have been arrested in connection to 17 calves stolen from Stearns, Todd and Douglas counties.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner received a tip leading to the arrest of Jesse Robert Ronsberg, 19, of Rothsay and a 16 year-old boy from Barnesville on Thursday. According to the sheriff’s office, the teens wanted to start their own farm and dairy operation. They planned to keep the heifers and split profits made from raising and selling the bulls.

Ronsberg is in Wilkin County Jail, the minor was released to his parents. Theft and burglary charges may be filed. All of the calves stolen from the area in the past two weeks were recovered and returned to their owners.
