Vermont milk surcharge tabled

A possible surcharge on milk sold in Vermont has been put on hold by the Vermont Milk Commission.

The retail milk premium has been in discussion for more than a year. Originally, the commission proposed a 39-cent premium per gallon of milk, to be paid by dairy processors and retailers.
